This article is interesting. The comments are perhaps more interesting. Although, I have to admit I didn’t understand chunks of it, which is unsurprising when the headline has the word irony in it! (And I’m still not really sure what a ‘hipster’ is.)
There are bits I agree with – the call to define yourself by what you are/like, rather than indifference, or worse: what you don’t like.
And bits I don’t agree with – using derivatives, and old styles, and remixing is all good.
