Wow – this is pretty fascinating 🙂 The scientists are making massively powerful 1000-core processors, but by reducing their accuracy to within 1% (among other simplifications).

I especially like the idea that these sloppy-processors might be useful in getting humans and machines interacting better. It implies we have to lower machines' standards to integrate with humans 😛

Is Google evil or good? Everything they do seems to be perceivable in either light. This article sums up most of the evil perspectives (although it's focus is a little tangential)

The net neutrality stuff is the main thing that makes me fear Google may be evil. And handling Wave so badly was really disappointing – makes Google look like it's just thrashing around.

But I cling to the belief that Google truly wants to organise and make available all the information in the world. I also like the view that Google wants people online; more people online means more ad sales, so they do all they can to encourage people to use the Internet.
