Argh, I read (in “Nice Cup of Tea and a Sit Down”) that 10 days without sugar was enough to never turn back, and indeed Orwell says the same, only a fortnight rather than 10 days. I tried it, figuring that 10 days was nothing, but caved in. Tea without sugar is just empty. Should I try again?
Tea is a whole new experience when you have it unsweetened. You should definitely try again. You can enjoy the flavour of the tea (rather than the sugar), and apparently tea without sugar is good for your teeth! (though not the colour of your teeth)
