It’s near the Cenotaph, Downing Street and admiralty house (I think) which they'll go through to St James park.

We’re on our way in to London!

What is this?! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chancelrepairliability

Andrew and Gail Wallbank received a demand for £100,000 pounds to fund repairs of a local church. After a protacted legal battle, the Law Lords found in favour of the parish council, leaving the Wallbanks with a £350,000 bill after legal costs

The magic of sox

April 18th, 2011

I've been trying to fiddle about with a 6 channel audio track, trying to get a movie soundtrack without the dialogue. The basic principle is that most of the dialogue is in the centre channel, so inverting left and adding that to right strips the dialogue, but keeps the music (and sound effects). I was using audacity, but the size of the files meant it brought my computer to its knees (because of hard drive access and a stupidly large paging file).

After some searching I found vox, which is a command line tool. It's pretty much like piping text from one tool to another, but with audio 😀 yummm!

The trees down our street had their branches cut back, and now leaves are growing out the stumps….

The trees down our street had their branches cut back, and now leaves are growing out the stumps. Thats like chopping a man's arms off, and finding fingers growing out his shoulders!
