Caroline has impressed me this evening

While watching The Apprentice: The Final Five, Caroline was able to match an impressive number of music tracks to their films. She is getting quite intelligent!

I think Microsoft Word has broken my perception of grammar.

Word would always put a green squiggle under a 'which' that wasn't preceded by a comma, because some Americans think you should only use 'which' for non-restrictive phrases (i.e. asides) and that only for restrictive phrases. Read the rest of this entry »

Moving

We're moving home, and tonight is the last night of packing up. All that's left is my PC, the TV and Sky+.

Afro Tree

Well, it's not so creepy now, but definitely still weird. It's grown an afro!

Where The Wild Things Are

I just finished watching Where The Wild Things Are. I'm not sure I really got it. It seemed very emotional, and I was pretty tense with so many sensitive characters. Was a beautiful film, and very touching, but not in a warm sort of way. I guess it was like the end of ET, but all the way through.
